What does an artist do when she finds her drawing & painting hand in a cast???? This is the result of having fallen down a set of porch steps last week; a broken wrist! But, as in all curses; there are hidden blessings. I am finding out that I am capable of doing artwork with my left hand. Will be posting my first left-handed sketch soon.

So sorry to hear, but the left handed drawings will be interesting I’m sure. Feel better.

It do stand out, don’ it? 🙂 The orthopedic guy who put it on said most ladies choose purple out of several colors available. My theory is that it has healing properties, & we’re intuitive enough to know that.

Thanks, Otto! I’m healing & have some use of my right hand now. I had quickly developed tendonitis in my left wrist from over-use, which put a stop to sketching for a while, but that has at least partly passed. Will be posting a “largely left-handed” sketch before too long, where I was learning to use a combo of both hands.

K. Sorry to hear about your wrist, though, sounds like you made lemon-aid from lemons. 🙂
